Immediate danger: call 999. Do not wait for an email response from Climb Nova.
Our approach
Concerns are taken seriously, listened to respectfully, recorded appropriately and acted on proportionately. Climb Nova aims to work in a person-centred, trauma-informed way while recognising that safety may require information to be shared without consent.
When information may be shared
If information suggests that a child or adult is at immediate or serious risk, Climb Nova may contact emergency services, social care or another appropriate safeguarding body. Only relevant information should be shared, and decisions should be documented.
What the app can and cannot do
The app provides guidance and signposting; it is not monitored continuously and cannot receive emergency reports. Do not upload or email detailed safeguarding evidence through the general contact form. Call the appropriate service directly.
Professional boundaries
Support does not replace statutory services, qualified healthcare, regulated legal advice or formal safeguarding investigations. Clear boundaries, consent, confidentiality and appropriate referrals are central to the work.
Raising a concern about Climb Nova
Contact John Ryder at John@climbnovaconsultancy.com. If contacting Climb Nova is not appropriate or there is immediate danger, contact the police, local authority safeguarding service or relevant regulator directly.
Review
Safeguarding procedures, insurance arrangements, training and referral information should be reviewed regularly and after any significant incident.
