Why information may be used
Direct enquiries may be used to respond, arrange support, keep appropriate records, protect people from serious harm, meet legal duties and improve services. Depending on the situation, the lawful basis may include consent, legitimate interests, legal obligation or vital interests.
Sensitive information
Please do not send detailed medical records, legal case papers, safeguarding evidence or identification documents through the general email form. Arrange a suitable secure method first. Information indicating immediate risk may need to be shared with emergency or safeguarding services where lawful and necessary.
Storage and sharing
Local app data remains on your device unless you erase it. Emails are handled through your email provider and Climb Nova’s provider. Information is not sold. It may be shared only where necessary with your permission, with a service provider supporting operations, to obtain professional advice, to comply with law, or to address serious safety concerns.
Retention and your rights
Direct correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, service, safeguarding, insurance, accounting or legal requirements. You may ask for access, correction, restriction, objection or deletion where applicable. See the data-deletion page. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
This app is not designed to collect information directly from children. A parent, carer or appropriate professional should assist where needed. Immediate safeguarding concerns should be reported through the appropriate statutory route.
Policy changes
This policy will be reviewed as app features, hosting or information-handling arrangements change.
